Freda Counceller (Owner) first caught the B&B “bug” 27 years ago when she was helping her roommate’s grandmother with chores at a beautiful B&B on Mackinac Island in Michigan. She opened the Always Inn Brown County B&B in 1991 and that country inn in Nashville, IN has earned a loyal clientele for more than 10 years. It is located on State Road 46, labeled “the most picturesque stretch of highway in America” by Midwest Living magazine.” She smiles when our Always Inn Tahoe guests differ, because the beauty of each Inn’s surroundings is so unique, it is easy to see why they earn “the best” label. She is zealous about room cleanliness, décor, amenties, specials, and going the extra step for guests. Freda is excited about supervising the opening of the next Always Inn – this one a beach close Spanish style villa in San Clemente, CA.
Jen & Don Sparacin (Innkeepers) joined the Always Inn team in September of 2002 after living 10 years in South Carolina. Prior to that they spent most of their lives in the New York metropolitan area. Among their other hobbies they both love to cook, love to entertain, and love to make the Always Inn guests feel like friends and family. They have traveled extensively and are both great photographers. Jen took up pottery several years ago; Don loves golf and NASCAR racing. They have two grown sons; one lives in New York City and the other in Los Angeles. They have two small dogs (Chewie & Travi) that live with them in their quarters at the Always Inn. While the dogs love to greet all of the guests with a friendly bark don’t worry, you won’t meet them unless you ask to.
