Winter:  If you enjoy the outdoors, you’ll love the hills of Brown County, Indiana in the winter.  Experience snowshoeing or hiking at nearby Brown County State Park or Millrace Park. Cross-country ski at nearby trails or downhill ski at local slopes.  Shops, museums and galleries are open year round.
 

Spring: The dogwood and redbud trees are in bloom, heralding spring in Brown County.  This is a great time to bird watch and discover many native wildflowers.  Or photograph the trees, flowers, barns and covered bridges in the area.  Ask about our picnic lunch packages for day hikes at nearby parks.

 

Summer:  Sunny skies and warmer temperatures bring a wealth of outdoor recreation choices in Brown County.  You can golf, fish, swim, canoe, kayak, horseback ride and hike in the area.  Power boating and jet-ski rentals are also available at nearby lakes. 

Fall:  The spectacular display of autumn foliage makes for an especially beautiful time in Brown County, with vibrant leaf colors during October and early November. Book early! Two-night stays are required and no discounts are available during October.
